Headbanger Shad 6"

The Headbanger Shad 6" combines the patented erratic, evasive headbanging action with a fixed, replaceable paddle tail — a swimming action that triggers even the most lethargic pike, muskellunge, and lake trout to strike. It works with a simple straight retrieve, but excels with pauses and twitches.

When and how to fish it

Use the Floating version (0–5 ft) over weed beds and shallow flats, the Suspending version (5–8.5 ft) when fish follow but won't commit — it hangs motionless on the pause — and the Sinking version (6.5–13 ft) for deeper edges and cold water. Also an excellent trolling lure at speeds up to 2.5 mph.

Rigged with premium VMC 7547 BN hooks — #2 in the front, #4 in the rear. Replacement tails are available separately.
